Vendredi, le 28 février, au Salon du livre de l'Outaouais à Hull, à 17hres, lancement du livre "De l'enfermement à l'envol" (rencontres littéraires en milieu carcéral et en milieu communautaire parrainées par l'AAOF, sous la direction de Sylvie Frigon). Le livre est disponible en librairie.

Mardi, le 11 mars, au Rendez-vous des aînés à Navan, présentation de récits de vie intergénérationnels. Ma petite-fille, Lea et moi avons lu nos récits de vie. Ces récits ont été fort appréciés par les membres du RAFO présents. Un recueil de ces récits suivra.

Mardi, le 25 mars, présentation à la bibliothèque publique Sunnyside d'Ottawa sur la rue Bank à 18h30. Nous parlerons de mon roman "Le jardin négligé" et de mes autres écrits.

Mercredi, le 11 juin,  présentation du livre "Le génie de Jessie à l'école Stonecrest. Presentation at the Stonecrest School.

Le 18 avril: FORUM SUR L'INTIMIDATION au Centre de conférence Centurion, 170 chemin Colonnade à Ottawa. J'y présenterai "A Genie for Jessie".

Le 22 mai (midi à 13hres): Je lirai des extraits de mon roman "The Neglected Garden" à la bibliothèque centrale d'Ottawa.
Le 25 mai (10hres à midi): Séance de signatures au Books on Beechwood, 35 ave. Beechwood. Nouveauté: "A Genie for Jessie" en plus de mes autres livres.
Le 25 mai à la Maison des Arts d'Embrun: Festival "Arts faits maison" de 10hres à 16hres. Lea sera là en matinée; je me joindrai à elle en après-midi.

Le 5 juin: (TV Rogers 23) Ginette Gratton reçoit Ginette nous invite à son émission, Lea et moi. Nous parlerons écriture, projets de la dernière année, mes conférences et la parution de "A Genie for Jessie" ainsi que des activités culturelles, sportives et éducatives de Lea.

Le 12 septembre: Inauguration du "Sentier des auteurs" au Muséoparc Richelieu à Vanier. Ce sentier met en vedette 30 auteurs franco-ontariens. Je suis fière de faire partie de cette première phase du sentier et je vous invite à le visiter.

Le 22 septembre: au Chapters de la rue Rideau à Ottawa, séance de signatures de 13h à 17h. Venez nous rencontrer, Lea et moi.

Le 28 septembre: à la Galerie Linart, 183, Montée de la Source (307N) à Cantley, Québec. Dans le cadre des "Journées de la Culture", je serai présente de 11h à 17h pour vous présenter mes peintures, mes photos, mes livres et mes articles, pour vous rencontrer et jaser. Le 21 novembre, vente de Noël à l'hôpital Montfort, de 8hres à 16hres dans la grande salle. J'y serai avec Claire Trépanier, Lucie Thériault et Colette St-Denis.

Le 23 novembre,Apt613 de 11h à 16h, à la biblio centrale d'Ottawa (120 rue Metcalfe), vente de livres et séance de signatures. J'y serai. Venez encourager les auteurs de la région qui écrivent en français, en anglais et en espagnol.

Le 26 novembre, atelier sur l'intimidation pour les élèves de 5e année à Saint-Guillaume de Vars.

Les 28, 29 et 30 novembre, Salon jeunesse d'Orléans à l'école Garneau. Lea a eu le privilège d'être interviewée par Michel Picard dans le cadre de l'émission "Midi trente", en direct du Salon du livre jeunesse.

 

 2013 Activities

April 18th: "A Genie for Jessie" was presented at the Forum "Creating a Positive, Bully-Free School Climate" at the Centurion Conference Centre. Guest speaker: Dr. Larry Epstein.

May 22nd: (noon to 1 p.m.) at the Ottawa Public Library main branch: I will be reading from my novel "The Neglected Garden". Please join me and discover Barbados along the way.

May 25th: book signing session (10 a.m. to noon): Join me at Books on Beechwood, 35 Beechwood Ave. where I will be talking about bullying and offering my new book "A Genie for Jessie". There will also be copies of the French version and my three novels.

May 29th: (7:30 p.m.) Presentation at the Vars Women's Network meeting at the St. Guillaume church in Vars

September 12th: (5 p.m.) Inauguration of "Le Sentier des auteurs/Authors Pathway" in the Richelieu Museopark in Vanier. I am proud to be one of the 30 authors featured along this pathway. Enjoy a peaceful walk along this wooded pathway and get to know these authors.

September 22nd: Rideau Chapters (1-5 p.m.) Book signing session. Come and meet Lea and me. We will feature the French and English books on bullying, "Le génie de Jessie" and "A Genie for Jessie".

September 28th: Linart Gallery, 183, Montée de la Souce (H307N), Cantley, Québec. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., I will be showing some of my paintings, photography, books and articles. Come for a visit and discover 30 artists, 8 exhibition halls.

October 26th and 27th, OIW Book Fair at the RA Center on Riverside Drive

November 3rd, Pauline-Charron Center in Vanier, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. with the authors. I will be reading at 3 p.m.

November 21st, Montfort Hospital Christmas Sale, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., come and meet Claire Trépanier, Lucie Thériault whose book is in French and English and Colette St-Denis who has a new book.

Saturday, November 23rd, Apt613 hosts a book sale and signings,11:00 until 4:00 p.m., Main Branch of the Ottawa Public Library, 120 Metcalfe, local authors who write in French, English and Spanish will be there to offer and sign their books. There will also be a few private book stores. Come and encourage your local authors. I will be there with my novels and children's books in both French and English.

November 28, 29 and 30th, Salon jeunesse d'Orléans at Garneau High School.

Le 23 mai, je serai l'invitée spéciale lors de la rencontre annuelle pour fêter les 70 ans de l'Union culturelle. Rencontre à Embrun.

25 février: Arts Night au First Unitarian Congregation d'Ottawa

12 avril: Salon jeunesse de l'ouest à Franco-Ouest

18 mai: Présentation au Muséoparc "Pourquoi est-ce que j'écris?". Superbe soirée! Merci Élyse!

14 septembre: Soirée des dames au Rendez-vous des aînés, (3349 chemin Navan). Rencontres avec auteurs et artisans locaux.

25 septembre: Canevas en couleurs au centre communautaire Richelieu-Vanier, 300 av. des Pères-Blancs, de 10h à 16h. Artistes et auteurs locaux.

Les 14 et 15 octobre: Salon du livre de Lefaivre, une première. Samedi, le 15 à 2:30, je ferai une présentation "Pourquoi j'écris".

Les 26 et 27 octobre: Salon jeunesse d'Orléans à l'école secondaire Garneau à Orléans. Mercredi, entrevue à la radio CHUO avec Diane Marleau. Lancement du livre "Le génie de Jessie" jeudi, le 27 de 14h à 15h.

*Le 3 novembre: (18h30) Lancement du livre "Le génie de Jessie" à l'école Saint-Guillaume de Vars, rue Buckland. Invités spéciaux: Stephen Blais, Jean Séguin, Diane Doré...

Le 9 novembre: Émission "Ginette Gratton reçoit" sur l'intimdation. Deux des jeunes auteures m'accompagnent, soit Lea Anderson et Stéphanie Laporte.

Les 12 et 13 novembre: Salon du livre de Casselman à l'aréna J.R. Brisson de Casselman

Le 20 novembre: Authors and Artisans Fair (OIW) au centre Jack Purcell

Le 16 février, présentation sur la violence pour le groupe de femmes francophones au Centre de ressources de Gloucester

Le mercredi 14 avril, à 10h, 19h et 23h à l'émission "Pour tout l'amour du monde" câble 23 de TV Rogers, Ginette Gratton aborde trois thèmes importants pour les femmes d'aujourd'hui. Invitées: Anne Guillemette, Karine Aristide et moi-même.

Séance de signatures à la librairie "Books on Beechwood", 35 rue Beechwood. Sigrid Macdonald, auteure de "D'Amour Road" et "Be Your Own Editor" partage cette séance.

Le 26 septembre, Canvas en couleurs du Muséoparc Vanier dans le parc Richelieu, de 10hres à 16hres. Venez rencontrer artistes et écrivains.

Le 27 octobre, Salon jeunesse de l'école Garneau à Orléans. Rencontre avec les auteurs de livres jeunesse, pour adultes, bandes dessinées et autres.
